ready shift trying
On Wednesday, every play, every minute, every shift counts, ... That's what we're trying to get ready for.
blood detect
It could have been a lot worse. If they didn't detect it, the blood clot could have got loose, and then I would have been in big trouble.
enjoying fun night playing
It is not every night you are going to have a 40-shot shutout, ... It is fun to play and I am really enjoying playing right now. It's an unbelievable feeling.
biggest difference drafts franchise grown moves results talented
I think that's probably the biggest difference for us is that right now we're very talented and that can make a real difference in scoring. As the franchise has grown and developed, you can see the results of our drafts and the moves we've made.
bronze great ice played result sure
For me, personally, bronze is a great result even if I'm sure that if we played better with Sweden, we would've been on the ice (Sunday).
few last shots
We have to be hungrier around their net, and the last few games, we just haven't done that. Sometimes shots are only statistics. You can take 100 shots, but if they're all from the outside, it really doesn't matter.
bronze happened happy hard losing playing sweden
Playing for the bronze was hard because losing the semi-final was very breaking. We are disappointed for what happened with Sweden but I'm happy with the medal.
bronze medal playing
Playing for the bronze medal is hard, very hard.
chance defensive job minor quality shows waiting
Really, that was one of our better defensive efforts. They did a quality job and it shows they're not just minor leagues, but they're waiting for their chance in the NHL.
came chance felt glad obviously team win
He felt the team had a better chance to win without me, so it's just the way it went. Obviously disappointing for me but I'm glad we came out with a bronze.
fell obviously sound
He made a sound and kind of fell down awkward. It's obviously not the way you want to go in.
against chances couple four goal good great nights overtime points power red road three
Such a good couple nights for us. We did it again, we give them chances on the power play. They had like three posts it could have been different. It was our night. We had a great goal in overtime and we got four points on the road against the Red Wings. I mean, if you look at the history, that's never been the case.
game job last people worry
Look at the game. It was so one-sided. The last game was so one-sided. I just try to do my job and let the other people worry about everything else.
almost eight games played point six
I play a lot in the NHL, and I'm tired. At some point you need a little rest. I've played almost 50 games. This would be six games in eight days, or something like that.
