In my nine years, this is one of the more disappointing evenings I had in this job because it's going to be sad to see some seniors go who've done a lot for us, won a lot of games.

I didn't think we were ever in the game, even when we were ahead. I was disappointed maybe in all ends of the court, for us, but I'd say that Minnesota had the most to with that. They just played harder.

I didn't think I'd have to go to that four-guard lineup as much as we did. We just couldn't cover with our big guys some things. We decided to go with it, but we just needed a little more play.

I didn't sleep very well. We got into the flow better and I feel fortunate to win. It wasn't good enough to pat ourselves on the back.

I can remember back in the championship years winning by one point and two points against teams that weren't as good. I'm gonna chalk this up to a win when we weren't at our best.

I don't think there's any question that was our best performance of the year, against a really good team. That was our best basketball in a couple of years.

I'd say, right now, it's maybe 50-50 (that he plays this weekend), and yet I don't know what would change it, what would make it 70-30. He's going to wear the same 'Friday the 13th' mask, and he's going to have the same mouthpiece. I'm sure they'll X-ray it again and see how the bone has grown, and then we'll probably make the decision (today) or Wednesday.
bad knows
I don't think he knows what he's going to do yet. I think, for sure, he'd like to go. I really do, and I don't think that's bad. But the one thing I feel comfortable with Shannon, I don't think he'll make a bad decision.
