duke game kid lottery minutes national playing plays single talking team time tv uniform
That kid, if his team is in first place or on national TV all the time -- or if he's playing with a Duke uniform on -- they're talking about this kid being a lottery pick. That kid does it all. He plays for 40 minutes every single game and doesn't take possessions off. That's special.
definitely four guys matter nba ronnie school senior situation stayed stays tim whether
Everybody's situation is different. If Tim Duncan stayed in school another four years it didn't matter what Tim Duncan did his senior season. I think there are some guys that are NBA guys... I think Ronnie is definitely a guy who could play in the NBA. It doesn't matter if he stays or whether he goes.
dallas excited fans game great played spot
Everybody's real excited about not only being in the tournament, but going to Dallas. I think it's a great spot for us to be in a lot of fans in the Dallas area. We've already played one game there.
basketball both coming continue game good helped job momentum protecting teams wins
It's an important, important game for both basketball teams. Both teams are coming off good wins that helped us both in a big way, and to continue that momentum for us would be real important. And protecting our home, obviously, is something we've done a good job at and we would like to continue to do so.
hit last seems steven
It's going to be a nagging thing. Steven had it some last year, too. He just seems to always get hit on the same place on his arm, like a magnet.
couple florida held last rough
It?s been a rough last couple of days. But we held strong. That?s an outstanding Florida team.
building maybe ncaa next process stage
It's been a building process and that's been maybe the next stage we had to get to, to get to the NCAA tournament. To be able to do that, that's an accomplishment.
focused games hard minutes worry
It's just one of those games that it's hard to get out of your mind. More importantly, for 40 minutes we were focused on Auburn and we didn't worry about that.
both complement great horse learning players ride
It's just maturity. Those two players have had a great relationship, but they're learning how to complement each other. It makes both of them better, and we want to ride that horse a while longer.
coaches concern conference east felt few four magic nine number seems since teams three winning wins
It seems like three or four years ago, winning nine was the plateau. But a few years ago, it seems like the Big East had a few teams go 9-7 and didn't get in. Since then, there's been a little concern in the SEC about what the number is. Coaches have always felt like 20 wins is a magic number and nine or 10 conference wins, you should feel safe. But at eight, you're still insecure.
early game home protecting win
It's early in the season. It's a very important game. I don't think the season's over if you don't win it. But it's a very important game to get, and protecting home is so important.
bit both everybody game great guard job pick seems
It's a big game for both teams. It seems to be that way for everybody in the conference. I like the way we're playing. We're doing a great job defensively, and being able to guard people. We've got to pick it up a little bit offensively.
ability boards both grab last positives saw sean shots valuable
They both play really hard. Sean with his ability to make some shots is really valuable to us and Cyrus with his ability to grab some boards is valuable to us, too. Those are two positives I really saw last night.
games protect
It's important for us to protect home. I know I say that a lot, but it is important. We have 14 (SEC) games left, but this is the most important one.
