The fans came here excited, but we didn't give them what they were looking for. I understand their reaction.
basic driving help hit houston maybe money parking people raising shelter ton
Being in Houston really hit home, because driving by some of those motels, you'd see all the people outside, having barbecues out in the parking lot - there were a ton of people, ... Maybe raising money will help get these people food, water, shelter - just basic necessities, really.
ball catcher good leaning memory reaching seeing waking
I have no memory of it, nothing between reaching for the ball ... and then waking up and seeing (Reds catcher Jason) LaRue leaning over me, which wasn't a good sight.
glad locker opposite sides
I told Cota I'm glad we're on opposite sides of the locker room.
glad ground love
That's great. You got to love it when that happens. I'm just glad I didn't ground out to second.
baseball change fact job
It was odd. My first at-bat was just weird. But it doesn't change the fact that it's still baseball and you've got to get the job done.
excited forward hello looking saying special
It will be special to see the fans, I'm really excited about that. The ones that were here for all those years, I'm looking forward to saying hello to everyone.
anybody mad people stuff telling
It's terrible. And you know what's unbelievable? He's telling people stuff like, 'Go Steelers' because he doesn't want anybody mad at him. Hey, don't mislead these people. Come on, we know he's a Seahawks fan. ... And you know what? He's going down.
elbow funny hit knocked soon
It was funny to see (on the replay) how I fell, because as soon as the elbow hit me, it knocked me out. I did this pirouette; (it was) very graceful.
ball coming sailed tight
I told him, 'It's all right. Obviously, he's coming in tight on a 2-0 pitch, and the ball just sailed on him.
elbows reaction
I've been there. Your first reaction (as a runner) is to put your elbows up (to ward off the collision).
bit feeling muscle pain
There's been some excruciating pain at times and there are still some muscle spasms, but not so much anymore. I'm feeling a little bit better every day.
history medical previous
I told them (the medical personnel) I could get up, but I think it was because of my history with concussions (he's had two previous ones) that they told me not to get up.
bobby catch pitch
They pitch it and they catch it. If you can pitch and play defense, you can play for Bobby Cox. They give you 27 outs, and that's it.
