close fight games lost trying
We've lost so many games like this; they've been close games and we're trying to fight to the end, but a play has to be made.
agent basically bunch confident decide eventually fight great guys nba nowadays realism scrap sort telling typical
We have a bunch of guys who basically have to decide if they want to be sort of the typical NBA player, which nowadays is more of an excuse-maker and a blamer and has his agent telling him how great he is. There's not a lot of realism in that. Or, do you want to fight and scrap and claw for wins? I'm confident that our guys will eventually get that message.
feeling fight free game guys points simple sorry throw
They made three's but the free throw disparity we could not overcome. We had a lot of head-hanging and guys feeling sorry for themselves. There are points in the game where there is a simple choice: you fight or you bleed. We did not fight our way out of it.
again amount bit fight gotten happened last obvious team
This is a different team than last season. It's obvious that it is. I mean, we haven't had the same amount of fight that we had before. Unfortunately, too many times, when things have gotten a little bit tough, we've rolled over. It happened again tonight.
fighting fights-and-fighting teams whatever
For whatever reason, we are not fighting back when other teams give us a blow.
ball bit fight game last plays
This was a game that had a little bit of everything. I thought we showed a lot of fight and we made plays when we had to. They also made plays. Fortunately we had the ball for the last shot.
choice coming either fight game handling inevitable ourselves points posture run
You could see it coming in our posture and the way we were handling ourselves out there. It was inevitable they were going to make some kind of run. There was no way we were going to run away from them. There are points in the game where you have a choice to make. Either fight or flee.
looked
We just looked out of it. We looked out of it most of the night.
ball defense driving finally kindness near picked quarter start third waited
We just waited too long to start playing. We kind of just sleepwalked through 2 1/2 quarters. Then near the end of the third quarter we finally started getting aggressive. We started driving the ball and our defense picked up.
focus move talked
We just talked about it with the guys; we want to move up. That's what we'll keep our focus on now.
bad basketball concerned gave good half lack points quarter respect tough win
We just gave them 25 points off turnovers and it's tough to win when you do that. I'm concerned about this one good half, one bad half routine, one good quarter, one bad quarter that we've been in and just the carelessness with the ball. And, a lack of respect for the basketball out there was pretty amateurish.
free throw winning
We were probably one free throw away from winning the game. We weren't able to make it, and we weren't able to get (defensive) stops.
kirk team
I've said it many times, Kirk does so many things for our team that his shot-making is down the list.
man nice pressure shoot
It would be nice to have Darius because he is another big man who can shoot it. There's a lot of pressure on Malik because he's our only big who can shoot it outside.
