bit great injury tough work
I'm a little bit shocked. I know how tough it is to come back from an injury and get yourself together. It's great she tried, but things don't always work out.
girls hard olympic worked
I think it's hard for the girls here and everyone who's worked so hard to make the Olympic team.
assume coach gets great responsibility skater works
When a skater gets older, they become more mature, and they can assume more responsibility for their skating, ... That's how I've evolved. I know what works and what doesn't, and Mr. Nicks is a great coach for me.
bit chance found great injury thoughts tough work
I just found out and I was a little bit shocked; my thoughts haven't had much of a chance to formulate. But I know it must be really disappointing to have to withdraw. I know how tough it is to come back from injury and get yourself together. It was great that she tried, but things don't always work out.
enjoy hard minutes nice quick soak work
I really wanted to soak it in. Everyone is so quick to get off (of the ice), but we work so hard for this. It's nice to take two minutes to enjoy your accomplishments.
checked excited fact gives jumps system weight works
It works well for my skating. I like the fact it gives weight to spins and jumps that were only checked off (under the 6.0 system). I'm really excited for the new system at Nationals.
great work
It was great that she tried, but things don't always work out.
best decision earned hard hope nice since whoever worked
It's a hard decision for whoever has to make it. I hope the best decision is made. I know they worked hard all year, and it would be nice for them to go since they earned their spots.
bad ethic few great huge lesson lose skaters work
I've always emulated her work ethic because she was one of the few skaters that didn't lose her temper, that would have a bad day, but have a great attitude, come back and try again. That was a huge lesson for me to learn.
best chance earn everybody girls hard job olympic pick skaters spot three worked
It's hard for the girls here and everybody has worked so hard to earn a spot on the team. But it's the U.S. Olympic Committee's job to pick the three skaters who have the best chance at the Olympics.
motivational dream hard-work
Follow your dreams, work hard, practice and persevere. Make sure you eat a variety of foods, get plenty of exercise and maintain a healthy lifestyle.
present stay
You have to stay in the present and give it your 100 percent.
appreciate enjoy figure five ice might nice realize seconds stand train year
You figure you train all year for this, you're so nervous, so you might as well stand on the ice and enjoy it for more than five seconds. I realize everything I have been through and what I have done, appreciate the audience. It's nice to have just 30 seconds of relief.
crushed learned major turn
At the time, I was devastated, crushed that it didn't turn out how I wanted. But it was my first major international event, so I learned a lot from it.
