ecstatic enjoyed happy matured strong
I enjoyed the experience. I think as a person I matured and I was strong through it all. I'm happy with it. I'm just really ecstatic to come out with a medal.
ecstatic enjoyed
I enjoyed the experience. I'm just really ecstatic to come out with a medal.
love vancouver
I'd love to be back in Vancouver in 2010.
bronze changed enjoying experience focus four last learned oh process sure surprised
I was surprised when I learned I would be for sure getting a bronze and even more surprised when I going to be getting a silver. It was kind of like, oh that's nice. But over the last four years, I changed as a person. My focus is not on the medal. For me it's the experience and the process and enjoying it.
block pull rest somehow together
I was somehow able to block it out and pull myself together for the rest of the program. But it just wasn't my night.
champion definitely last skated strongly top
She's the World Champion from last year. She's skated really strongly all season. She's definitely one of the top contenders.
deserved skated strong
She skated really, really well. The two triple-triples made for a really strong program. She deserved to be first.
course field mean motivates national time title win
Of course it can be frustrating. I went through a time when I thought, 'Why doesn't she retire? Give someone else a turn.' But at the same time, that motivates me. When the field is weak, you become weak. When I do win a national title it would mean a lot more if she's there.
best matter personal time
Of course, I say all the time my personal best is what I am in this for. No matter if I won, it's if I did all I can do.
bit great injury tough work
I'm a little bit shocked. I know how tough it is to come back from an injury and get yourself together. It's great she tried, but things don't always work out.
bit determined felt good
I felt good out there. A bit nervous, but determined and positive.
characters funny hopefully
It's not like it would be a stretch, and hopefully I'll get to be funny. There are a lot of characters in skating.
body
It's kind of interesting, because usually she's always there. She never withdraws. But you never know if your body is going to be there tomorrow.
carry country good model ourselves responsibility role
It's our responsibility to be a good role model and to carry ourselves in a way that would make our country proud.
