definitely mean michelle overcame proud sick titles won
I was proud of myself for what I overcame with being sick this week. But it definitely would mean more with Michelle here. She's won so many titles in the past, and I was always second, but I'm not complaining about this title.
athlete athletics believe definitely strong
I would never let myself believe that. I'm a strong athlete and I definitely believe I'm getting stronger.
definitely gave percent regrets
I was very disappointed with my skate. I definitely gave 100 percent in my effort, I gave it my all. So I have no regrets with that. But it just wasn't my night.
champion definitely last skated strongly top
She's the World Champion from last year. She's skated really strongly all season. She's definitely one of the top contenders.
best definitely last olympic skaters sort stay step time tough
It's definitely tough to know you're going to be the last one. It's the best skaters in the world, it's the Olympic Games, it's 11:30 at night. But you just sort of stay in your own world, take it one step at a time and stay strong.
definitely mean national win
When I do win a national title, it would definitely mean a lot more if (Kwan) is there.
creep definitely handle mistake pressure shake
Definitely you have to be able to handle pressure and shake off any mistake and I kind of didn't do that tonight. I let that first mistake creep in. I have to be tougher.
bit couple definitely hard jumps medal nice time
I was disappointed and in a little bit of shock. I had a really hard time with a couple of jumps in the warm-up and I just couldn't get over it. I definitely didn't think I was going to get any medal at all at the end of the program, so it was a nice surprise.
compete definitely healthy states strongest united united-states
If she's healthy and able to compete, she's definitely one of the strongest to compete for the United States at the Olympics.
believe definitely felt strong test tried until
I definitely don't feel flawless. I felt strong and I made it happen. I tried to believe in myself. You don't know how strong you are until you test yourself.
bit definitely finished medal
I definitely didn't think I was going to get any medal when I finished skating. I was just in a little bit of shock.
afraid becoming harder holding stopped train trying
I've stopped trying to be perfect. When I train, I'm not afraid to make a mistake. I train harder and make more mistakes, but I feel more prepared. I'm not holding back and becoming a better athlete.
athletic believe beyond carried coming dark easy emotional goes music slammed triple
It was very difficult. I wasn't coming back with an easy jump, with the triple loop, which I also slammed in the warm-up. I was able to believe when everything was dark and gray. The music carried me through. It goes beyond an athletic event, goes to emotional experience.
asked believed finish great judges marks ovation program standing stayed strong top
I stayed strong, and I believed in myself and to finish up a strong program and get a standing ovation and then to have the judges give me great marks on top of that was everything I could have asked for.
