felt guy luckiest
I felt like the luckiest guy in the world.
fast town
I feel very fortunate. If I was on the road, I'd get out of town as fast as I could. I feel like I stole somebody's candy.
anybody basketball college country defense impressive leads remember scoring shoot since somebody time year
I can't remember anybody in my time in college basketball averaging 27 or 28 a game. It's been a long time since I was in school. Every year there's somebody that leads the country in scoring averaging 27 or 28 a game, but his team's usually not very good. J.J. being able to do that and shoot the ball as effectively as he has with the other team's defense aimed at him is about as impressive as it can be.
cut dickens forty hard imagine meeting minutes practice seven sneeze time worked
I can't imagine what in the dickens went on in a meeting where you'd cut practice times to 40 minutes. Now they're making you practice twice. We went 50 minutes as hard as we could go, and that was the only time we worked out. Now, we've got to go somewhere. Forty minutes? I can sneeze seven times in 40 minutes.
change last maybe morning noon playing sunday whatever
Maybe 12 noon Sunday morning is too early. They may not like playing at that time. I told 'em, whatever they did last night, change it before we play again.
close fact score worry
The fact that the score was close is not something you worry about. You just have to play.
coached difficult handle listening perhaps teammates
What I think now is that it allows them to get coached by listening to their teammates handle what perhaps could be difficult questions.
airport demand few question
There's a real question of what the demand will be in the first few weeks, It's very important that the airport is up and running.
experience football knew knows lost plus repetition settled
At first, I don't even know if he knew what two plus two was. He was really lost out there. And now with repetition and experience out there on the football field, you can tell he's really settled down and he knows what's going on now.
game grow hope stopping trying
As we grow together, man, we just hope there's no stopping us. There's a lot of mismatches. ... That's what this game is all about, trying to find those mismatches.
builds great stepping
a big stepping stone... builds our confidence. It was a great win, and something we can build on.
compare good players setting treat wonderful
It's just a wonderful treat for us (as coaches). You see really good players in one setting and compare how they are to other players as well.
follow league rule worrying
It's a rule that the league mandated, and I'm going to have to follow the rules, ... I'm not worrying about being targeted.
kids testament
It's a testament to a lot of kids that are making me look good. I told them to keep it up.
