It doesn't change ... no matter when or where you see Puck, when he comes around everything is brightened up. Now we are just all hoping that he gets through this thing OK.

We get a single by the second hitter in our lineup, and then Redmond comes up and hits a ball in the gap. It gets you rollin'.

I don't know, not until he comes out and takes BP. Whether he gets into this series or not will depend on him. He's pretty sore, that's all I know.

He gets a little wound up here, no doubt. Hopefully we can calm him down a little tonight.

He gets a little raging bull out there sometimes. He's got to calm down. But we saw everything we expected to and more. To say he's ready for the big leagues, yeah, if we were in absolute need, he'd be fine. But we're not going to rush him.

He gets a little lazy at times on the drills. But he knows what he's doing on the mound. He's a good fielder; he just gets a little sloppy at times. We talked to him about that. He's handled himself very well.

Every time you start trying to figure something out, somebody gets whacked. So we're just going to let it go down to the end.

All you can see is how he does. I don't want to punish a kid for something like that. It's quite an honor. He might be pitching great for the world games, but I might have a guy here that's blowing people away every time he gets the ball. What are you going to do? That makes it tough on all parties.

We just really have to wait and see. On that schedule right there, getting in three games and if he feels comfortable throwing all three of his pitches, then he's probably going to be ready. But we're a little worried about this.

We just talked about being a winning team, and what we're all about here. Pitching and catching the ball is what we do best. It's what we work hardest at. We have a chance to win. We can say that where a lot of other clubs can't. Well, they might say it. But they can't say it like we can.
