check closer deal order tomorrow until
You can't deal with it until we're closer and see where everything is at. First, they have to check him out tomorrow and see if it's healed. That's the first order of business.
adding bad bats behind early game great kept lousy missed night swing
We had a really bad night tonight, all the way around. That was just a lousy game by us. We got behind early and just kept adding on. We missed plays, didn't swing the bats great and just had a lousy game.
We can't penalize him for not being here.
hard hit joe tough
We really didn't have much of a chance. Carlos (Silva) got hit pretty hard and Joe (Mays) couldn't get anything down and they killed him. When you are down that much offensively, it's tough to get back in it.
knew sending
We knew weren't sending him out there for 120 pitches,
battling people trying
We're trying to survive. We've got injuries. We've got people out. I think we're battling pretty good.
ball chance dagger guy throwing
We had a chance to put a dagger in them and take it to them. The guy is throwing the ball all over the place. We didn't get it done.
double forth guys home keeping mental plate throw trying
Trying to throw out guys at home plate when we should be keeping the double play, ... It's the mental part of the game, and that's where we have to toughen up again. We're going to put forth a big effort.
love
We'd all love to see him in the rotation, but that's just not where he's at. We'll use him out of the 'pen, because he's the only one we've got.
checked joint
When Shannon told us it popped out of joint out there and popped back in, you have to get it checked out to see what happened,
pride serious
It's not just about going out and bunting. It's about implanting things in their minds. This is what we have to do to win. You have to bunt. You have take pride in it. We want them to know we're very serious about this.
center middle puck stir
It's one of those. Puck was in the center of the room. He wanted to be in the middle of things so he could stir it up.
knows normal
It's not the normal progression for a pitcher. Who knows what it's going to do to him in the long run.
exciting manager middle
It's pretty exciting as a manager to be able to write him in the middle of the lineup.
