balance carries everybody played tonight
Balance has to be one of the things that carries us. Everybody that played, played hard. We're not necessarily doing everything right, but tonight we did things really hard.
energy minutes plays
As long as he plays with this kind of energy and force, he'll get minutes and make things happen.
beat top turn
That was a big part of the game. When you turn it over 22 times for 30 points, you aren't going to beat a top team.
call dear hanging however teams tough wins worry
That's what you call hanging on for dear life. (Boston) has been tough for us to play all year. It's important for us to get wins now however we can get them. We can't worry about what other teams are doing. What's really important is concentrating on ourselves.
couple january next rushed situation starter weeks
A.J.'s the starter for now. We'll see how the next couple of weeks unfold. We were in this same situation in January and probably rushed him back too soon.
against beaten games good record season struggle turn
You take away the first 20 games of their season and they have a very respectable record and they've beaten a lot of good teams. We struggle against them and we have to find a way to turn that around.
chicago days guys half lose sitting three
You're on a back-to-back, Chicago has been sitting here for three days and you lose Jermaine O'Neal in the first half -- our guys showed a lot of character. It was great.
count game until won
You never count a game as being won until the game is over. That's something we should all realize. On the disappointment scale, that's right up there.
defense defensive energy gave great hard huge job looks open played team tough
They didn't do a great job with the coverage, but, hey, the way Tinsley played tonight, he put the defense in a tough situation. That was a huge play because it was so hard for Jermaine to get open looks around the basket. It gave our team some energy at the defensive end.
both cheeks efficient ends figuring great higher job last playing standards team
They are a well-balanced team that has become very efficient at both ends of the floor. I think (coach Maurice) Cheeks has done a great job of figuring out a lineup. A lot of it is going to come back to Iverson and Webber because they are two great players. Iverson, in the last two weeks, he's been playing by his standards at a higher level.
fact five fourth guys key poorly schedule shot team top tough
They are a tough team to play at any time. But from a schedule standpoint, our fourth (game) in five nights, it's really tough. That on top of the fact that we shot poorly in the first half, and we're without some key guys made it tougher.
good last problem situation strong
You can't look at their record. They've been a problem for us the last two years. We did some good things to put us in a strong situation and made some mistakes.
talk trade
There is no trade right now and there may not be a trade. There's nothing to talk about because there is no trade.
critical decision game group hands less played talked
This is the kind of game we talked about having to play. More up-tempo, more movement, less set offense. The game is in the hands of the players. We have a group out there that's a pretty knowledgeable group. They played well off each other. The critical thing is going to be our decision making. We need to play aggressively, but not frantically. When we played frantically, it got us in trouble.
