hurts margin situation zero
We're down players, which hurts us, but also we're in a situation where we've got zero margin for error. We're going to have to make shots. We just could never get anything going offensively.
looks margin players situation zero
We're down a lot of players and it looks like we may be down another. We're in a situation where we have zero margin for error.
against both certain chance court ends good ourselves perfect precise win
We're doing some things better, but we're not a perfect team. We have to do things a certain way and we have to be very precise at both ends of the court to give ourselves a chance to win against good teams, especially on the road.
both game position precarious urgency
We are in a precarious position right now. Nothing is a lock. To make the playoffs, we will have to have more of a sense of urgency at both ends. Tonight's game was a setback.
games hang hats healthy time work
Those games were a long time ago. I don't think there's anything there we can hang our hats on. We've got to really work to get healthy and work to tighten up our game.
plays
We'll look at it (in preseason games) and see how it plays out,
character fact hanging hard hardest identified learn
You do learn a lot about hanging in there. You learn about hard times and the fact that character is often identified in the hardest of times.
best collect continue few figure good group mirror ourselves path playing searching soul teams
When we're playing well, there are very few teams that are as good as us. When things don't go well for us, that's when we have to look in the mirror as a group and figure out how to collect ourselves and continue on a path that's the best way for winning. We've got some soul searching to do.
becoming bit chance factor fortunate game gave hang hope luck miss played
We probably played 30 possessions of zone, which is more than we played all year. It gave us a chance to hang in the game because fouls were becoming a factor early. With zone, a little bit of it is luck and you have to hope they miss some shots. We were fortunate that they did with a lot of those possessions.
great grenade hand shots year
We dodged a hand grenade at the end of the game. That was a great look and I know he's been making those shots all year long. We feel very fortunate.
both couple defensive games good hard last priority run
We'd like to get out and run and do some good things on offense. But if you can't get the stops, it's going to be hard to do that. We're going to have to be better at both ends, but after the last couple of games on the defensive end, that is going to have to become more of a priority for us.
games points work
We didn't have one of our better games as a team. Too many turnovers and too many points off turnovers. We've got a long way to go, a lot of work to do. We've got some time, fortunately.
compete excited good high level move obviously playing team tough wish
We're excited to move up in the standings by winning. I wish I could say we are playing really good basketball, but we obviously have struggled. It's been a tough road. We've got some things to do to look more like a team that can really compete at a high level in the playoffs.
basis consistent game great hard played second start tonight
Our start to the game was OK. But the second quarter, they had 32 (points) and we couldn't keep them under 30 after that. They played great offensively. During this 15-game period, we've competed hard on a consistent basis and tonight we had a letdown from that.
