(The shutout) is exciting too because I haven't had one in a long time. We played really well and buried some chances we had and limited their scoring chances. I just want to win games and hopefully I'll get more opportunities to do so.

I don't know if we had high hopes for tonight or not but we wanted to win. I don't want to take anything away from them. They played really well and finished us off at the end.
I like playing here, and, yeah, I realize an organization can only hold stock in you for so long. I hope I've given myself a shot at a longer stay because of the recent span, but the year's not over yet . . . It's nice to have people say (nice things about you), but I still have to go out and play well until Dominik gets back. I don't want to get ahead of myself.
It's exciting. More importantly the team is doing well and hopefully I've done enough to stick around and can fill the void when Dominik (Hasek) can't play.
We've got them in a position where we know our best chance to put them away is at home. We played a strong game. We didn't have our best start, but we played solid -- especially in the third.
Toronto is close to my hometown of Hamilton. I grew up watching Hockey Night in Canada on Saturday night. It was one of the most exciting games of my life, that's for sure.
This team has been playing really well (9-1-1) since the Olympic break. (First place) is where we've had our sights set all year. It's exciting. It's definitely great to be in that spot.
You get excited. You work for the bounces you get.
Better than being complacent. It's a fresh start for us. You can see that in the boys ... it's an opportunity to put ourselves in a good position going into the playoffs.
We're in a battle with Buffalo for the top spot in the division and with Carolina for top spot in the conference. It's an exciting time of the year. With those teams not slipping up very much, we can't afford to either. We've been playing really solid since the break.
We were flying out there, it was a playoff type game and we took it to them. I've said it too often, but I've got to make some saves.
Experience is helpful, but that's not saying you can't succeed not having any. I don't think it's the situation here with the team we have that I have to stand on my head.
We've put ourselves in a good spot, but it's not said and done. We've still got to finish it off. We realize at home is our best opportunity to do that. We've just got to re-focus for that game.
