I don't want to get ahead of myself. I'm excited to get a chance to play, but I'm taking it one step at a time.
I just want to play as well as I can each and every night and take it one step at a time. I haven't gotten ahead of myself, I just want to look forward to the next game and let Dom's situation and the rest take care of itself.
I'm not a guy that looks at the big picture that often. If I start thinking about it, this could be an awesome opportunity for me. But I think it's a lot better for me and the team if I look at it one game at a time. There are a lot of things you can't control.
I like playing here, and, yeah, I realize an organization can only hold stock in you for so long. I hope I've given myself a shot at a longer stay because of the recent span, but the year's not over yet . . . It's nice to have people say (nice things about you), but I still have to go out and play well until Dominik gets back. I don't want to get ahead of myself.
You work for the bounces you get. Luck was on our side, definitely.
You've got to give a lot of credit to those guys. They were still playing hard, doing the little things. It had to be tough on them.
Just playing more, I'm more comfortable. A big part is the boys are giving me a lead a lot of nights. Playing more has just let me be more comfortable in different situations in the game.
Definitely, it just felt good to get the win.
You won't go the hell for smoking, you'll just smell like you've been there.
I was motivated by the fact that I wasn't happy with my play in this series and felt accountable to the guys. That's enough motivation to want to play well.
No disrespect to anyone. I just didn't know where the flag was.
