It great to see the guys come up and fill the spots.
I was really excited. This is close to my home town in Hamilton. I grew up with Hockey Night in Canada sitting at home watching it. This was one of the biggest games of my life.
I thought we were flying out there. That magic that a lot of these guys have, you could see it ... when we got chances, we buried them.
Look, I'm just looking forward to getting the chance to play in the playoffs. That's what you want to get in your career and this is going to be a good challenge for me.
I don't think we played well in the third period, but I've got to be better. I've got to come up with some big saves.
With the new rules, it's cool, I get a chance to look up and see if a guy is available for a stretch pass,
We came out hard. When this team does that, we make it hard on other teams. I don't think it's surprising. We know what we're capable of. It's just a matter of doing it.
Time goes by fast for me right now. It's fun to hang out with the guys and know that you're going to get in there.
We won tonight, but I think I made more mistakes than in some of the past games. I felt a bit better and felt more comfortable seeing game-type plays. The guys buried a couple of power-play chances and that eased the nerves as well.
We won tonight but I made more mistakes than I did in some of the past games. When you lose as a goaltender you're definitely under a magnifying glass. Just to get a win maybe put that whole (slump) behind me.
The second one was on a bad angle and it goes through me. I don't let that in normally, it's a bad goal.
(The shutout) is exciting too because I haven't had one in a long time. We played really well and buried some chances we had and limited their scoring chances. I just want to win games and hopefully I'll get more opportunities to do so.

I don't really read that stuff, but I'm sure he's probably trying to get in my head.
