And proclaim among men the Pilgrimage: they will come to you on foot and on every lean camel, coming from every remote path, / That they may witness advantages for them and mention the name of Allah during stated days over what He has given them of the cattle quadrupeds, then eat of them and feed the distressed one, the needy.
book fast fathers found given guided hold surely
Or have We given them a book before it so that they hold fast to it? / Nay! they say: We found our fathers on a course, and surely we are guided by their footsteps.
book evil follow guard mercy shown therefore
And this is a Book We have revealed, blessed; therefore follow it and guard (against evil) that mercy may be shown to you.
against allah blood brought false good help light matter patience shirt sought souls whose
And they brought his shirt with false blood upon it. He said: Nay, your souls have made the matter light for you, but patience is good and Allah is He Whose help is sought for against what you describe.
believe follows nearest warn
And warn your nearest relations, / And be kind to him who follows you of the believers.
attained gave knowledge reward thus wisdom
And when he had attained his maturity, We gave him wisdom and knowledge: and thus do We reward those who do good.
certainly fear good hunger lives loss misfortune news property shall somewhat surely
And We will most certainly try you with somewhat of fear and hunger and loss of property and lives and fruits; and give good news to the patient, / Who, when a misfortune befalls them, say: Surely we are Allah's and to Him we shall surely return.
account certainly discourse entered grace grievous mercy touched
And were it not for Allah's grace upon you and His mercy in this world and the hereafter, a grievous chastisement would certainly have touched you on account of the discourse which you entered into.

Cursed be the makers of the pit, / Of the fire (kept burning) with fuel, / When they sat by it, / And they were witnesses of what they did with the believers.
