both fine
Both of them pitched well. Both of them did a fine job.
ball blown both brad couple gets given lead location though throwing wants
Both will get on track. Even though Brad has given up the lead and blown a couple of saves, I think he's throwing the ball pretty well. When he gets his location where he wants it to be, he's going to be fine.
bothering gone hip offense stone
I think his hip was bothering him a little. It's very uncharacteristic of him to have that kind of inning. But I don't think that's the story. Our offense has just gone stone cold.
both certainly critical field game glad good imagine line lose sides somebody win
I can't imagine a better game with as much on the line as this game and to have performances on both sides of the field that were as critical and as good as they were. It was unfortunate that somebody had to win or had to lose this game. I'm certainly glad we won.
although best both control downhill game gets great heat high hope looks people pitch seen sides
I feel that we have not seen his best game, although I can see why people are very high on him. He has a great downhill tilt, he looks like when he gets his game together, he can control both sides of the plate. He's down in the zone. I would hope he would go down there and pitch right from the get-go and put a little heat on us up here.
although bothering leg seen strike
It was rare, ... We've not seen that from him really all year. He couldn't find (the strike zone), and I think the leg had something to do with it, although he said it really wasn't bothering him. He never did get comfortable from what I could see.
both days ok played rule saying straight teams
I thought the rule was if you played 19 straight days and it went over 19 straight ? if you played 20 straight days ? you had to have the OK of the players. If we played on May 8, that would put both teams on 20 straight days. They're saying now it's 20 straight days, and the 21st is when you have to get an OK (from the players). That's probably new.
both ready time
I think they're really good. Probably right on track. So we've got time to get them both ready and we can do that.
bother
He doesn't let anything bother him, doesn't let anything get to him, ... He pitches. That's what he does.
both cecil good guys hopefully winter
Cheo, he's managed in winter ball, and I think he'd like to have some consideration. And both guys are good guys and all that. Hopefully Cheo and Cecil will be in consideration. I think Cecil will make a good manager.
against ball bat care decent few good job pitches swinging team threw
We just had a lot of Dontrelle Willis tonight, more than I'd care to see, ... Brandon (Backe) threw the ball well. He had a lot of good pitches and only a few mistakes. That was a decent job against a team that is really swinging the bat well.
care
We just had a lot of Dontrelle Willis tonight, more than I'd care to see.
against bottom good job line missed pitches pitching zone
We missed some pitches that we should have hit, and we expanded the (strike) zone sometimes when we probably shouldn't have. But the bottom line is they did a pretty good job of pitching against us.
happening hits parts timely
What's happening is we're getting timely hits and we're doing it from all parts of the lineup.
