The thing I like is that I'm in charge of everything, so I can structure things the way I like. I get to wear all the hats. There are a few guys in the NFL who have that opportunity, but not many. You basically have to win a Super Bowl.
I've always thought Walt was a great problem-solver.
Right now we're rolling guys through (the secondary) and counting on Terrell Thomas to come back at full speed, but the other guys are battling. We have to see who's going to be most productive.
(Sanchez) had a very solid day today. We really mixed it around and played a lot of stuff off of the running game, and we tried to balance it out more than we have in the past to make it more realistic, and he handled it very well. It's a very positive sign.
I don't see the challenge as overwhelming but just different from the previous years,
He's never been asked to be a coach for an NFL job before. It came out of nowhere.
He's OK, he's getting better, ... He was really sick the day before but he's coming back now.
Here again, it does it again. Hopefully this just continues to generate energy to try and fix the thing and make the thing as accurate as possible.
He ran better (Wednesday), but not well enough to run in practice. I am going to challenge him to come out tomorrow and go. If he is ready to do that, we will see how he does.
He plays really consistently hard and does things right all the time so he's in position to make plays.
Gosh, we finished so strong. We just pounded the football in the second half.
How far are you going to kick it?
How do you top this? ... How about doing it again a couple times?
How much more can you ask of your offense? This was even more than we could have pictured. Arkansas always played such aggressive pass defense, we didn't think it would happen like this.
