It has never been a focus of our program to look at the end of the rainbow kind of thing.
His back just tightened up on him, locked up on him. He's got real serious back spasms that are going to keep him out for a little bit.
But if you look at the difference between the past couple years and this year, we've kind of gone off the charts in all numbers.
It's real simple. The series before they had great success moving down the field. If they get the ball, I don't know what yard line it was, but it's the 40 or so, whether they get it there ... or kick it 20 yards farther, it's not going to make a big difference.
That's an extraordinary football player. He's not only big, he's fast. He probably made us miss a dozen tackles.
That's critical if you're going to handle it. You have to be at home with the environment that we've created, feel comfortable and aware of what's happening. Otherwise, we won't be able to hold onto this.
I look at that as recognition for the effort from our staff. And congratulations to Karl. He's done a wonderful job getting his program going. He's deserving.

I know Cal has had a great time with this fact. They've had a lot of fun with it. I'd like to not let them have so much fun with it. We'd like to win the game and put that one behind us a little bit.

I really need to see that play again. I didn't even get a chance to look at the replay, but it looked like a phenomenal play. It looked like he got stuck up in a pile of guys and he was able to spin around and get back out to get going. It was just a terrific play by an amazing football player.
I have not changed one bit since I've been here. There is a way to have great discipline, and have great intensity and have people compete on a level that is hard to match and enjoy every minute of it.
