I agree with Gross. It's been refinancing of mortgages -- basically eating into one's seed corn -- that has been sustaining consumer spending. When that peters out, it's not clear what's going to kick in.

I agree we've been inconsistent, we've lost games on paper we should have won, but there's no question that teams fear us in the Tournament. There's no question that people say we're the most dangerous six seed maybe ever. There's still that aura, that swagger, that thing that people see in March. We have it, there's no question about it. If someone says we don't, they're lying.

I always appreciate some of the historic significance of this building, how it was used in the beginning, ... Time marches on, things change, and the campus needs to adjust to changing times.
