five four guy playing spoiled
I got spoiled on 'Breaking Bad.' Playing the same guy for four or five seasons, you get to really explore who the character is.
both chance excited good guys playing starting team
This should be a good tournament, both because of who we have coming, and because of how we're playing right now. Out team is really starting to mature, and our guys are excited to get a chance to see where they're at right now.
dreamed environment heart involved outdoor playing rewarding support
To be able to be even playing in an NFC championship game, with the support of all the fans, and the kind of outdoor environment that I dreamed about when I first got involved with the Seahawks, its just so rewarding and heart warming.
discipline early lack late playing saved
What killed us early was a lack of discipline and what saved us late was playing with discipline.
against along barry beating both bowl build complement game great identity intrigued mental mike notes offense plans playing ready record staff strength talked took
When I was here in 2002, I took real mental notes on what Barry and his staff did in getting ready for the bowl (the Alamo Bowl against Colorado). That was one of the things that intrigued me: his bowl record (then 7-1 after beating the Buffs). I think both Mike and Barry have great plans for bowl games. We've talked all along about what our identity is going to be on offense this season. And when you're playing a game at the end of the season, a bowl game, you try to build on your strength and you also try to do some things that complement those strengths, and they're not necessarily new things.
buying enthusiasm happen kids playing
We just happen to have everything going right now. We're playing with enthusiasm. These kids are buying into what we coach.
good playing remember
I don't remember ever going 6-0. We've got a very good team, but we still have a lot to do. We are playing very well right now.
attention balanced beat mistakes playing red team ways
This team is very well balanced. In playing this team, they have a very balanced lineup. They have different ways to score. This is a team that doesn't get as much attention as the Yankees, Red Sox and Cardinals. Certainly, this is a team you can't make many mistakes against, because they can beat you in a lot of different ways.
capable early execute gotta hard kids multiple playing team understanding unselfish year
This team is capable of playing multiple styles. Early in the year it was understanding how hard they had to play. These kids are very unselfish and play smart. Now we've gotta be able to execute under pressure.
beat best far four game gym last playing proud robbed saying since south team win year
This was by far our best game this year. We've been playing much better over our last four games. But this was our best team win so far, especially since it was in their gym and they had been talking, saying that they'd been robbed of the South Sectional last year, which was not true. We beat them this year and last year and I'm just so proud of these kids.
believing diving extra floor focused kids motivation ourselves pass picking playing together
We focused on picking ourselves up, believing, playing hard, and playing together and being unselfish. We had kids diving all over the floor and making one extra pass to get a lay up. Our adjustments weren't X's and O's, but in motivation and believing in ourselves.
boys good handled looking played playing surface
We got started off on the right step. The boys played well and handled it well. The playing surface was in good condition. Everything was looking pretty good.
fight good hard hit looks open playing road shots sluggish uphill
We got some good looks and hit open shots in the first quarter. ... We jumped to a pretty good lead. Playing on the road and in a hard gym, (South Tahoe) got off to a pretty sluggish start. That made (the game) an uphill fight for them.
ahead approach changed dominated early felt pay plate playing
We changed our approach at the plate and it started to pay off. Early on I felt our batters were playing into the pitcher's hands, and he just dominated us when he got ahead in the count.
