He went really tough with Davis. Kyle was down 2-0 and went for a turn and was really close to having it, but ended up losing 4-0.

He went down to Exeter on Friday and worked over a mile and six furlongs with Ruby Walsh. I was very pleased, he jumped superbly.

He's confident he will still be playing at a high level then. The Braves made a good effort and the Cubs did too. He turned down longer terms from other teams. We probably could have gotten close to this much money and twice as many years. But this was the right thing and the right team.

He's clearly got a temper on him. When we met, the first thing he said to me was, 'I'm an irascible guy' - and he clearly can be - but he was great to work with. I never saw him show his temper because most of the time I was working with him he was getting to hit somebody else in the story.

He has a cult following in New Zealand because of the record, ... They haven't seen a horse do what he has done. He beat the older horses at weight-for-age at three and won the derby having not run for five weeks and has returned to win two over there.
