I was hoping for something in that area with six other people going at me. It's been a very strange deal.

I was glad to get out there. It was emotional for me, just putting on the uniform and being able to take the field at Jacobs Field.

I was giving my all as the game was winding down.

I was getting homesick so it's great to be back here again and great to have a chance to give back to the community I grew up in.

I was frustrated out of my mind, trying to figure out the will of God. I was doing everything but getting into the presence of God and asking Him to show me.

I was exiting Turn 10 and heading to Turn 11 when the front left just dropped. I was lucky that I wasn't into the corner with that side loaded up. I was able to gather it back and get it slowed down. It is tough to bring in a car when it is so good and you are leading. Ron did a good job in his stint and was able to stay out of trouble. He really knows when to push and when to be patient; I think I learned something today.
coming destroyed realized situation
I was in a situation where this destroyed me. I didn't like what I had become. I only started coming back into myself when I realized this wasn't all my fault.

I was in a pretty bad way yesterday (Sunday).
bright culture eager looks photos students took
I think if you took 3,000 photos here today, you would find it looks very much the same. The culture doesn't change. What makes this place what it is are the students and faculty. They're just as bright and eager now as they were 20 to 30 years ago.
forthright people
I think if you're forthright and answer a lot of questions, sometimes you'll get people who won't let you answer the questions, and that makes for a difficult answer.
