That's one of the better games and more complete games we've played in a long time.
That's a big mistake on his part right now. He's too young to be saying that. It's just indicative of the young players today.
It's in our hands. I'm not looking at numbers. I'm not looking at who they're playing. It's in our hands. And so we have to win games. They might win out. So we have to just stay one step ahead of the posse.
It's in our hands. I'm not looking at numbers. I'm not looking at who they are playing.
It was a ploy ... a way to get them to think bigger. It means something, but it's not what we are playing for.
It wasn't about that other trivial stuff. This was a story about the Texas Western players, what they had to overcome. I was there, and there were a whole lot of things I didn't know when I saw the movie. The first time I ever saw them play was at the Final Four. There was no ESPN or anything like that in those days. You know that they're going to put some theatrical stuff in there. But I think it should be mandatory for kids today to watch it.
It was a barn burner, two teams that just shot the ball well. Both teams were very aggressive.
It's what I like to call a Saturday night special.
It's very unusual to have guys hurt like this when I don't practice anybody anymore.
The bigger the moment, both of them stepped up even bigger. Sometimes, it's absolutely beyond description. I haven't seen players do that in a long, long time.
The beginning was a disaster, an absolute disaster.
It is time for us to take advantage of however much time we've spent together.
It's almost like a blessing in disguise to get on the road because it's a better challenge and we can get away from all the distractions in Miami.
It's good to get this. It doesn't mean much unless you use it.
