They came in and took something from us, and we've never got it back.
enjoy matters
We're 3-0, ... That's all that matters right now. Enjoy the ride.
good might point preparing scouting spend time
We're getting to a point now where when we get to our scouting team, it's a full-speed picture. We might not spend a lot of time preparing specifically for an opponent, but the time we do spend has been of good quality.
finish football games good high lack level played season until
Until Nov. 19, it went very well. At the end, it didn't go very well. We had a very, very good season going and we didn't finish the way we wanted to. But I'm not going to take anything away from this football team. We played at a very high level in many games this year, and it was never from lack of effort.
adjust against defense field short throw
We adjust to what the defense dictates. We like to run. We had the short field against Toledo and didn't throw it much.
asset believe bulldog coach coaching epitome felt field football four good great individual leader locker obviously player proud staff start tim type
Tim Skipper is the epitome of a Bulldog football player and is the type of individual we are proud to have produced. He was obviously a very good football player to start for four seasons. As a student, he was excellent. He was a leader on the field and in the locker room. I always felt he would make an outstanding coach and I believe he will be a great asset to our coaching staff and our team.
accomplish coach decade goals grass greener hope love nearly program rare shows
To be at a program for nearly a decade is very rare for any coach these days. I hope this shows how much I love the community. We have goals to accomplish and I'm working on making the grass greener at Fresno State.
football ourselves practice preparing spent team work
We work more on preparing ourselves to get better as football players. Because if we just spent our whole practice working on each team we played, I think we would go down as a football team.
goal lofty move national season top undefeated winning work
We work from the top of the ladder. National championship and undefeated season out? OK. Move on. What's next? Our top goal now is winning the WAC title, and that's a lofty goal.
balanced good line love mitchell mobile offensive running throw tough
They have a very balanced offense. I love their running back. I think Mitchell is a very, very tough back. They have a good offensive line and a quarterback who is mobile and can throw the football.
against bring football game good
They're a good football program, but for the first time, I thought we were able to bring our 'A' game against them,
good places
That place erupts when things are going good for the Ducks, ... But those environments are the kind of places you want to play in.
change football goals
That's what offseasons are for. We've got a football game. Friends or family, your goals don't change just because you know someone on the other sideline. Everyone in football understands that.
unique year
This is the most unique year I've ever been through,
