I should be trying to coach basketball and our guys should be enjoying their college careers. But I don't know if I've had a team that's had positive memories out of this whole deal since I've been here.

It's unbelievable. I love the way the fans are supporting us. ... I can't tell you the last time I smiled and had so much fun. I'm really enjoying this. This is the way it should be.

We just support the soldiers and families and help them do their job.

We went from being a very deep basketball team to only having enough to practice today.

The whole year we've gone with Marco because he's our inside guy. If you don't have him, then it's a different style of basketball.

First of all, we have to get back in transition, and we have to keep them off the offensive glass. They are probably the best in our league at those two things. It is going to be important for us to do a good job in those areas because they scored over 80 points against us. We cannot let them score 80 points this time.

We didn't make them pay tonight. I thought Matt Painter just had his game plan that Marco was not going to beat us. Marco got the ball out but we didn't take advantage.
time vacation
Before, I just used vacation time when we did tours.

Being a part of this, knowing I won't coach here anymore and won't coach these guys anymore was definitely a tough situation. But I'm proud of them, and they can hold their heads up high because they did a great job fighting back.

Bobby is basically getting it off the ground for me, helping get it started. But once the ball gets rolling and we open up, it is pretty much going to be on me.

Teams have made adjustments to our point guard not being able to shoot the ball. They haven't played our point guard at all. They've been playing us five-on-four. I wonder why it took so long to make those adjustments. Now I have to make some adjustments.
dream practice seeing
Seeing him in practice every day was just like a dream come true. He's been everything that I thought he would be this year.
