We've got one more game left. We have to lick our wounds and hopefully end the season on a winning note. Hopefully the kids won't pack it in and I don't think they will. We have a ways to go to play in the same league as CBA and so does everybody else. They've blown everybody out this year. We just have to gather ourselves and see what happens next week.

Marco hasn't surprised me at all. He's been exactly what I thought he would be.

Marshall played 40 minutes and he was the best conditioned player out there. He never got tired. He was great.

I think right now, we are playing well. Defensively, our intensity has stepped up. The energy and effort we are giving is more important than the wins. I think we are figuring out now that we have to go out and play tough for 40 minutes.

I think every coach, whether or not they're going to be there next year, anytime they have a group of guys they really love and appreciate, I feel more sadness for them than anyone because they fought hard. They really fought hard over the last month. I'm proud of them.

It doesn't make any sense. I've been under fire the last two weeks not only by fans but media, and we were one game out of first place and were ranked in the top 20 during that time. ... If we were five or six games behind, you'd probably have an argument.

We'd prefer to wait until the end of basketball season and then rip the floor up, but we have a short window to get it ready because we're probably going to have to have graduation in the gym again this spring. There's so much uncertainty with FEMA funding that when we're told to move, we're going to move as quickly as we can to get FEMA to pay 100 percent of the cost.
