It felt more like a soccer match out there. She is not very big built and when she hits that forehand, you think 'Whoa! Where did that come from?' But she needs to be more consistent.
I still need to do this and that but I've played a couple of tournaments now and I feel I can get better ... I love coming back here, this stadium has been so good to me.
I think just to be more patient sometimes - that you can't have everything at once, but learn to deal with your feelings a little bit better.
I think I've come a far way. I haven't won a tournament yet or grand slams. They're coming up. I think already that I showed that I've still got some game.
I thought I finally beat a top 20, but definitely it's sweet to beat the number three seed.
I was never happy my injuries cut my career short and ultimately forced my decision to step away from tennis,
You can always have hopes, right? I thought it might be out. It was a very close call.
Under the circumstances in the heat and not having played for three years, I'd say an eight (out of 10), other times even better. I don't know what else I should have done today better than what I did. The score says it all.
Maybe I have this little underdog thing now, not being out there for three years and coming back. You've seen that in the past with some other athletes and it's nice to feel the same way.
Melbourne gave me a lot of confidence. And I think that confidence showed here today. I've been improving every week I play.
I saw her when she was 12 and she was very good even then. You could hear her from like 10 courts further down.
That would be the goal at the moment, to be able to participate at that level.
Her biggest strength is she serves well and is mentally tough. I've always said I wanted to play her and now I'll get my chance.
For sure since 4-1 I started to play better. All these chances I had and games I could have won, she won anyway. You've got to have the stamina.
