Martin Pierre Brodeuris a Canadian former ice hockey goaltender and the assistant general manager of the St. Louis Blues of the National Hockey League. In his 21-season tenure with the New Jersey Devils, he won three Stanley Cup championships and five Eastern Conference titles in 17 postseason campaigns. These teams were ready for us. Nobody wanted to give us a break. All tournament long, it didn't matter what team we play, they give us their A game. It's really disappointing.

It's definitely nice to see two of my teammates along with me in the starting lineup, ... It's something we're really excited about. ... When you see three guys on the same team at the All-Star game, it's pretty amazing.

It's amazing. Just take the new year. We were able to get 18 points in 21 days. That's unbelievable. I'm just really excited about it, just to get back in the thick of things and put some teams behind us. We've just got to try to push that envelope forward.

You can't be happy about losing a game. You have to look at the bright side. We competed well against a team that we can afford to give two points to and we took one away from them.

Everything was chaotic. A lot of things were up in the air. There were a lot of rumors here and there. It kind of took two or three weeks to settle our heads, and when the New Year turned, that's when this team turned around and made it happen to make the playoffs.

Defensively, we were awesome. That's as good as a team can play. I don't know how hard they competed against us, but we don't care. It's about how we play.

Defensively we're going to have a lot of size. It should be interesting to see - I think it's going to be a learning process - learn to play with each other, learn to play with the new rules, learn to play against other teams. There's all new teams everywhere, they haven't been passive and have been changing players left and right. For the first week it be interesting to see how we play against our traditional rivals because we're going to be playing them a lot.

Right now, we don't look at the division. We're looking more at our conference, where we stand. Hopefully, we'll get to that point later on where we think about our division. But, if you look, our record in our division is not that good. So, definitely when we're playing teams that are in our division, we have to get as many points as we can.

These nights are going to happen. It's definitely disappointing to do that against a team like that, but that's the way it is.
