approach challenges chance character fight good great less people question thinking together whether work
Whether things are going great or poorly, you have challenges. Challenges when things are going well are a lot more fun, but no less difficult. In our case, there's no question it's not as much fun. But if you have good people and good character like we have, you approach it thinking that together you can get through it. And if you have a good work ethic, you have a chance to fight your way out of it.

Why would you ask a dumb question like that?
good half question second
I thought the second half we did some very good things. The turnovers were really monumental, there's no question about that.

defense evolve game kicking lose perry players question replace stay type
There's no question it's going to be a different type of team. You don't lose two outstanding players like Navarre and Perry and immediately replace that kind of production, ... The question I was asked before the season was, 'Would you be disappointed to not be in the Sugar Bowl?' ... I can tell you, I would never be disappointed to take a team to the Rose Bowl. To play in that stadium -- outdoors, on grass, in the sunshine -- how could you be disappointed?
We're just not where we need to be,

affiliated coached coaching extremely people promoted
The other thing is that they promoted from within. So there are a lot of people who have been affiliated with this program, who have coached here and are coaching here, who are extremely capable. So we'll see what happens.
We're still a long way from being where we need to be.

chad credit embraced gets giving great handled helping job players praise pressure terry
Our players embraced him and Chad gets most of the credit for that because of the way he handled the pressure of the job and the praise he got for doing it. But (quarterbacks coach) Scot Loeffler did a great job of helping him get better every day and (offensive coordinator) Terry Malone did a great job of giving him things he could handle, not overloading him.
chance gave good win
On the touchdown, he made a very good run. He gave us a chance to win in the end.
