guys time
For the guys that are going into it for the first time or the first time they're going to play in this game, there's a lot of things that they don't know yet and they're going to find out in a hurry,
anybody compliment forward goals high higher players program ranked time trying worry
I don't worry about the polls, but I think any time you're ranked high it's a compliment to your players and your program and it's challenging and we look forward to trying to do better. We have our own goals and they can't be any higher than anybody else's goals for us.
bad bouncing game good hear lost plays week worry
I don't worry about him bouncing back, ... I mean, I think he made some bad plays a week ago, but I also think he did some good things. What I hear is that it's like he lost the game. Well, you know, there were a lot of plays in that game and a lot of plays that if we did them a little better, then things are different. It's a combination of a lot of things. It wasn't just the quarterback.
expect general jim ohio people rule school treat treated
I don't think we'd ever treat any school like we were treated at Ohio State. Commissioner Jim Delany has instituted a new rule that if you're going to have something like that, you must notify people beforehand, and that's a thing you'd expect as a general courtesy.
both door good justin walked
He's made very good progress, as has Justin Boren. Both those kids, considering they just walked in the door in January, have done very well.
competition decided expect game happens injury responding rest ryan spring
I do not expect Ryan to take part in any game competition this fall. We're disappointed that his injury is not responding as we had hoped, and he has decided to rest it and see what happens in spring practice.
guys passed test true
The true test of leadership, ... always comes when things go poorly, and these guys passed the test.
closer factor noise practice work
The idea is to try to do as much in practice as you can to simulate the noise factor and the communication, how much closer you have to listen. We'll work on all those things. We'll do everything we can.
good guys head healthier main opportunity ten truth
The main thing is we did not come out and slop around. I thought we did a lot of very good things, but the truth is we had the opportunity to play a lot of guys and get some guys healthier before we head into the Big Ten season.
asked certainly
I certainly would have asked for that play to be reviewed.
amount both huge last positions spent time work
The idea was he would work at both positions this spring, much as he did last fall. He spent a significant amount of time at the quarterback position. That's a huge disappointment for us.
leader athletics brady
There is no better leader in collegiate athletics than Tom Brady.
athlete athletics field finest seen
The finest athlete I've ever seen on the field as a quarterback.
