booth coaches decisions guy instant nobody whether
If they're going to have instant replay, they should have to let coaches challenge. Otherwise, you have a guy in the booth that nobody knows. He makes decisions on whether a play should be reviewed, and we get no explanation, and you use timeouts that you don't get back.
accepting confronted guys nobody obstacles situation stepped trying understand win
They understand where we are and there's nobody that isn't accepting the challenge. That's what trying to win a championship is all about. There are always obstacles in your way and there are always things you can use as an excuse. I like the way they've confronted our situation the way a lot of guys have stepped up.
gets hope nobody practices truth until wants
I hope he plays. There's nobody who wants to play more than he does, and the truth is, we're not going to know (if he's ready) until he gets out and practices (today). Then we'll see.
hope mike nobody wants
I hope he plays. Mike has done everything. There's nobody who wants to play more than he does. We'll just have to see where he is.
changed control hard nobody ohio played playing pressure state tempo throw trouble
We thought if we get control of the game, Ohio State would have trouble playing from behind, but they played very well from behind. Nobody ever would have thought they would throw for that kind of yardage, but they changed the tempo of the game, they made it very hard for us to pressure the quarterback.
booth conference decisions ended guy instant nobody plays position reviewed season since taken ten whether
I will say this about replay, and I've taken this position since the season ended when we had a Big Ten conference call. If they're going to have instant replay, they've got to have a coach's challenge. Otherwise, you've got a guy in the booth nobody knows, and he makes decisions on whether plays should be reviewed or not, and we get no explanation.
ended extremely hard heart knew season team tremendous worked year
I knew in my heart this team had tremendous motivation. They worked extremely hard going back to the way that season ended a year ago.
exception half problem second
The big problem we had in the second half was offensively, ... With the exception of one big play, we just couldn't get much going.
across biggest country mark question
The biggest question mark across the country about Michigan, ... is our defense.
across biggest mark michigan question
The biggest question mark about Michigan across the country, I'm sure, is our defense.
decent executing felt good job
They just did a good job of executing a good play. It was a good call. We felt like we were in a decent defense.
individual talk
I'm not going to talk about individual guys.
anybody asked certainly conversation happen player program season sure wants
I've interviewed every player on our team, and that's always part of the conversation. There's a lot of things that certainly should be motivating. I don't think there's anybody in this program that wants to go through that kind of season again. I think they'll do everything that they're asked to do to make sure that it doesn't happen again.
obvious rules violation
It was obvious that was a violation of the rules.
