complete face great hard imagine means point quality saturday somebody stay time unless utter
Any time you stay away from somebody of that quality it's great because you don't have to face him, which is hard to do. It means that the game's out of hand. ... I imagine we'll probably see him at some point on Saturday unless it's a complete and utter blowout.
ball batting black fans hard help people pick red wear wearing white
If we could get the fans here to wear what they want while we're batting and then when they come up to bat, if everyone would put on a black shirt, it would really help us out in the field, ... The glare from the red and white people are wearing makes it hard to pick the ball up off the bat.
both defend fun great hard practice versatile work
They're both real versatile for us in that that they're 6-2, 6-1 and they can defend on the perimeter and inside. They're great kids. They come to practice and work hard all the time. They're fun to coach.
bigger changing eye hard intensity next pleased prize win wins worked
To their credit, they worked hard and had the intensity to win those one-point bouts. We're one or two wins away from changing that and getting things our way. All in all, I was really pleased with the kids. They wanted it. I'm disappointed for them. I think they have their eye on a bigger prize next weekend.
came five hard improve kid last mike picture seventh wish
I wish I had a picture of Mike when he was in seventh grade. You wouldn't think a kid could improve as much as he has in the last five years. This all came down to one thing -- hard work.
ball caught crush hard likes motion puts react throw
(Willis) is hard to face; it's no fun. I told them not to get caught up in all of his motion (in the windup), just react to the ball after that. He likes to throw the fastball. Eventually, you're going to get a fastball. Hopefully, he puts one in a place where you can crush it.
talked talking win
I know we'll be talking about it for a long time, ... But I think it will get talked about a lot more if we win two more games.
home ride save shower
It was just a way to save gasoline. Heck, I shower with the guy, so a ride home is no big deal.
decision teams
This is kind of a cut-throat decision for teams and players.
great profit
It was a great success. We'll make a profit of between $60,000 and $80,000.
games good last series seven
It was a good series last year, seven games that were all a grind. I don't see this series being any different.
brings consistency exciting fun hitting home needs pathetic pitchers run start
Suppan brings consistency, but he needs to start hitting home runs, ... It's exciting. It's always exciting to see pitchers hit home runs. He probably never thought he would be the one to do it. It was a pathetic home run trot, but it was fun to watch.
time
Any time you get to contribute, it's a blast,
fighting gave good guys kids loss
The kids gave a good effort. The guys were fighting out there in every match. We avenged a loss to them so we'll take that.
