break caught
He caught a spike. We caught a break there.
awareness body continuing developed great knows learned living period room toughest wrestling
He learned a lot on the living room floor. He comes from a wrestling background. He has great body awareness and that's the toughest thing to coach. He knows where he is at at all times and that is developed over a long period of time, from continuing to wrestle.
last struck
I struck out my last at-bat. That (stinks).
clear last likely
I think I've made that clear that more than likely this will be my last year,
base hurting looked maybe plate saw second signs
I thought I saw signs that maybe he was hurting with the leg. He got up to the plate and never swung. It looked like he didn't want to get on base a second time.
aside injury reminded thinking time
Usually with every injury you put it aside and you just go out and do it. The only time you're reminded is if you do something you're not able to do and you feel it, but I won't be thinking about it, it'll be another game.
ball caught crush hard likes motion puts react throw
(Willis) is hard to face; it's no fun. I told them not to get caught up in all of his motion (in the windup), just react to the ball after that. He likes to throw the fastball. Eventually, you're going to get a fastball. Hopefully, he puts one in a place where you can crush it.
foul game good half hit kept kids late longer plugging second shot start sync took trouble
We got off to a good start in the second half and then hit a lull. We got in some foul trouble and got out of sync with the lineup we had in there. But defensively, our kids kept plugging away. The longer it went, the better we got defensively. Gravette was pretty much one shot and out late in the game and we took advantage.
hung mad matter pitch swung
I was mad at the pitch before being called a strike, I was mad I swung at that, and then he hung me one, ... So, madness, madness, happiness, all in the matter of a minute. Stupid.
almost pay train
I said 'hit the train (atop the left-field wall) for $1 million,' ... I almost had to pay off.
bit dugout entire noise
We were making more noise in the dugout than there was in the entire ballpark. It was a bit weird.
came
That was it, probably. Unfortunately, we came up a little short.
bald came deserved match needed six
That was a match we needed to win, going head-to-head with Bald Eagle. Garrett came out and wrestled six minutes. He deserved to win.
boost needed
Carp really needed that. That was a big boost for him.
