ball caught crush hard likes motion puts react throw
(Willis) is hard to face; it's no fun. I told them not to get caught up in all of his motion (in the windup), just react to the ball after that. He likes to throw the fastball. Eventually, you're going to get a fastball. Hopefully, he puts one in a place where you can crush it.
bit dugout entire noise
We were making more noise in the dugout than there was in the entire ballpark. It was a bit weird.
clear last likely
I think I've made that clear that more than likely this will be my last year,
base hurting looked maybe plate saw second signs
I thought I saw signs that maybe he was hurting with the leg. He got up to the plate and never swung. It looked like he didn't want to get on base a second time.
foul game good half hit kept kids late longer plugging second shot start sync took trouble
We got off to a good start in the second half and then hit a lull. We got in some foul trouble and got out of sync with the lineup we had in there. But defensively, our kids kept plugging away. The longer it went, the better we got defensively. Gravette was pretty much one shot and out late in the game and we took advantage.
aside injury reminded thinking time
Usually with every injury you put it aside and you just go out and do it. The only time you're reminded is if you do something you're not able to do and you feel it, but I won't be thinking about it, it'll be another game.
came
That was it, probably. Unfortunately, we came up a little short.
game gets great happened happens looked looking obvious stuff
Great things happened in the game today, and it happens every day. The obvious stuff gets looked at, and the not-so-obvious doesn't. I'm looking at the not-so-obvious.
details hearing means officially tv
I don't think it's been officially announced. You're hearing it from my mouth. It's official. I'm retired. I don't know what the details are in making it official. Don't know, don't care. It just means I have to be on TV again.
ball batting black fans hard help people pick red wear wearing white
If we could get the fans here to wear what they want while we're batting and then when they come up to bat, if everyone would put on a black shirt, it would really help us out in the field, ... The glare from the red and white people are wearing makes it hard to pick the ball up off the bat.
bid canada next softball wants
Softball Canada wants us to bid on the next one right away,
covers elected maybe tomorrow treatment
I feel fine, that covers everything. I got my treatment, elected not to hit, I'll come back tomorrow and do some treatment and maybe hit, maybe not, I'm not sure.
africa bunch country guys hope major pick playing potential proven sending south start
You hope with playing South Africa first, you can start well and get on a roll. This has the potential to become a big thing in our country and pick up steam. We're not just sending a bunch of guys into it. We've got proven major leaguers on this roster.
good minor pains rough
We're the WWF outfield, I guess, ... We've been through some rough times, but we're good to go. Our pains are minor right now.
