Larry Edward Cokeris an American football coach and former player. From 2001 to 2006, Coker served as the head coach at the University of Miami. His 2001 Miami team was named the consensus national champion after an undefeated season that culminated with a victory in the Rose Bowl over Nebraska. We pushed through (practice) pretty well today. Obviously it's hot and humid. It's going to be hot and humid in South Carolina as well. We have to be prepared and ready to give a great effort. That's what it's going to take to win the football game.

It's a slower time in the spring. You're not getting ready to play a game. You get a chance for the coaches to work with you because you don't have as many (players), normally.

It's a little bit iffy. Tyrone is still a little sore, still being bothered by the leg. We'll see if he's ready to go today or tomorrow. That will tell us a lot more about this weekend. He's not ready to go, let's put it that way.

We're not going to let this be an excuse. We're not going to let this set us back. We're going to do whatever we need to do to be ready to play. Probably the most disappointed, upset guys it affects more is the coaches. The players, they're going to do whatever we ask them to do.

They're starting to play with a lot of confidence. I think we have enough talent there to be good. Are we ready for Florida State? No. But we don't play Florida State right away, so we have a little time and we need a little time.
