Today we did a lot of mental work and corrections. We're coming. We're coming along. But we need to move it along. We more than halfway to the spring game, so this is an important week for us and we have to finish strong next week.
ahead defense expected football good obviously offense teaching work
It was a good day for us. Obviously the defense is ahead of the offense at this time, which we expected that. There is some good teaching out here and we have a lot to work on to be a good football team.

We have to continue to work and get better at what we do.
certainly work
We certainly have a lot of work to do offensively.
chance coaches ready slower time work
It's a slower time in the spring. You're not getting ready to play a game. You get a chance for the coaches to work with you because you don't have as many (players), normally.
decision definitely hard high personally standards tough work
For me, it's definitely personally a very tough decision. But it's a decision I think had to be made. ... We have high standards here, high standards are set and I think we have to work hard to live up to those standards.

Definitely some things have been improved. But without question, we've got a lot we can work on and we've got to get a lot better to be the team that we want to be.

ball defense felt run
We felt like our defense would make a stand. And we also felt like we could run the ball on Clemson.
ball hands job position putting
We're doing a much better job of getting the ball out of the quarterbacks hands and putting the receivers in position to make plays.
build finished handle imagination players product stretch
We're not a finished product yet by any stretch of the imagination at quarterback. But I think again, if we handle it properly, we can build on it with the players we have.
