asked coached days deal everybody game next spoken tries win
I've spoken to you after 28 games, and there was one game I was disappointed and I said that. Everybody makes a big deal (about it), I coached him (Marbury) for the next two days just like I always coached him. He's done what I asked and tries to win the game.
amazing basketball coach guys playing systems talked
I've never talked anything about being a systems coach in my life. I've been a basketball coach, about guys playing the right way. That's always been what I've said. It's amazing to me the guys that have wanted to do it have really prospered.

I've coached a lot of great kids, but he's at the top of the list. He told me he wanted to get better. He's tried to do everything I've asked.
blessed coach coaches good happens happier people players privilege taught time
I've been blessed with the players I've had the privilege to coach as well as with coaches that have taught me. I know every time something good happens to me, those people are happier than I am.
coached david except helps hurt hurts rotation san settled three year
I've never coached that way, where we've never had a set rotation, except my first year in San Antonio, we had a lot of injuries. That's really hurt the team. It hurts your progress. All of a sudden, we settled on David at the three and we have the three-guard rotation for the most part. It helps everybody, I think.
coaching game guys hard hope losing positive stop talk tough trying
When you're losing game after game after game it's tough. It's hard to keep them up. It's hard to get guys to keep competing. It's really tough on the young kids. But you can't stop coaching and trying to get better. You hope you have something positive to talk about.

coach gone people proud sorry
I was sorry that the crowd, some of the people booed him, that's never what any coach would like to see happen. I want to coach him and I want to make him better and I don't want him to have to go through what he's gone through. I really was proud of the way he acted.
changes coached detroit inherited positive progress until winning work
Until I coached Detroit I never inherited a winning team, ... This is a work in progress but I do think some of the changes that have been made are really positive ones.
coach game key treat
It's all about making shots. The key to a Game 7 for a coach is to treat it like any other game.
affect change coach hopeful lifestyle maybe resolve walk whether
It's not something I enjoy, but it's not going to affect whether I can coach or not. It's not going to make me walk away from doing this. But I'm hopeful maybe we can resolve this so I can change my lifestyle a little bit. But there is nothing that I have that can keep me doing from what I want to do.
coach might single
They come every single day and play with passion. It might not always be right. But when you don't have to coach effort, it's a big step.
coach meant move people rest sorry teammates
I told him I wanted him to listen. I told him I appreciated the way he cheered for his teammates at the end of (Wednesday's) game. It meant a lot. I was sorry that the crowd, some of the people booed him. And I told him I just wanted him to let us coach him the rest of the year. He's not going anywhere, and let's move on.
