felt guy himself knowing looking looks loves perfect point special wants
I always felt if you get a big guy and a point guard, you got it made. And they were pretty special together.... Kevin, knowing him, he has no ego, he just loves to play and wants to win. I don't think he ever looks at himself as 'the man.' I think that was a perfect match. Looking back on it, it's kind of sad.
admire anybody feeling realize respect
I admire and respect him, but I have that feeling for anybody that sits down at that end. But you realize what he's done and that's pretty special.
home trouble
He'd be in a lot more trouble when he got at home if he didn't do what he did.
doctors great keeps steve telling wants
He keeps telling me he wants to come back. If the doctors give him the OK, we'll do it, but we'll just go day to day. It would be great to have him back, but if not, I'll get to play Steve more and Jamal more and Nate.
child finer gets poster
He just gets better and better, and you won't find a finer kid. He should be a poster child for our league.

He is one of the few people that I don't have to worry about his workmanship. If everybody did the quality of work that Earl did, we would have a different society than we have. And he's not going to retire before he does my screen closure.
guys issue rebound
The only thing I want is guys who play hard, play unselfishly, try to defend, try to rebound and play with some kind of intelligence. I think that's been an issue forever.

He got the ball to people. Look at all the open shots they got.

He does an amazing job. Even if you dunk on him he tries to get back and block the next one.

He looks so much better physically. A lot of people forget that when he was thinner, he had a lot of skills.

This wasn't (Auburn Hills). What happened that night started because of a fight on the court. This was nothing like that. Once (Davis) got up there, he didn't do anything.
