He was the head coach of the Oakland Raiders and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, winning Super Bowl XXXVII in his first year with the Buccaneers. At the time, Gruden was the youngest head coach ever to win a Super Bowl at age 39 years, 5 months and 9 days...

We got two pretty good kickers. It's a competitive situation. Both have kicked the ball off very well, and outside of the last-second desperation kick we did pretty well.

We're pleased with the progress we're making. We're not saying we're ready for Canton (the Pro Football Hall of Fame) yet or Super Bowl XL or whatever it is. We've added some guys who are not only good players but good leaders. They lead by example. Ike Hilliard's helped us. He's come in here and given us great leadership. Brian Griese's asserting himself with the football team. Chris Hovan's done some great things. Anthony Becht is a leader on the team.

We all know that Pittman can function in any formation and Carnell is a guy we think can be great, so yeah, we're really excited. It's been a while.
