I'm really happy for him, proud of him. It's a credit to him and his hard work. This guy is a special talent, a special kid. Hopefully, he's got a lot more great days ahead.
couple drops good great key
I like the way we started. It was a great first drive. A couple of key drops stymied some opportunities that we had. We are doing some good things, but we have a long way to go.
believe feeling football foreman george great jerry left performance team won
What can you say about Jerry Rice? ... It's a great feeling to be on his team in the playoffs. I can't believe his performance tonight. Those 49ers acquisitions were big today. Jerry may be 39, but George Foreman won the heavyweight championship when he was 44, so he's got a lot of football left in him.
best close great saved telling throughout white
Dewayne White made a great play. He has been close throughout the season. We have been telling him that, but he saved his best for last.

There's some of that, and then some of that is just sheer determination, guts, and talent. He is a phenomenal competitor and he is blessed with great talent. Not to take anything away from anyone else.
attacks best great impressed personnel prolific scheme seen shut tape totally
I've seen some of the best get completely shut down on the tape I've studied. I've seen them play some prolific offenses, some great attacks and totally shut it down. I'm really impressed with this defense, the personnel they've assembled, the blitzing scheme that they present.
best certainly great incredible runner tremendous
As a runner he has incredible vision, tremendous stamina. He has great competitiveness, and he can run with power. In my years of coaching, he is certainly the best ball-carry back I have been around.
balls clutch division great hit landed line performer says slant throw title wide
The throw he makes to Galloway with the division title on the line says a lot about what a clutch performer he is. That wasn't a slant or a wide flare, that was a 44-yard throw that landed right on the screws. He got hit a lot, and we had some balls batted down. He's got great resolve.
chance earned great job middle ryan time
Quarles has great versatility, but we also like him as our middle linebacker. Ruud, some time in the future, will get his chance to play. Ryan has earned the job in Jeff's absence.

They dominate everybody I've seen, ... They're on the cusp of being one of the great teams in football.
cusp dominate everybody great package players teams terms
They dominate everybody I've seen. They have a great package in terms of blitzes. They have high-profile players at just about every position. They have it all. They're on the cusp of being one of the great teams in football.
beginning great guys start stepped
There were a lot of young guys that stepped up and made big plays. What a great beginning for those guys. Hopefully, it's the start of some thing big for them.
aware awareness ball catch decisions fair field great guy instincts open people perfect requires return roll skill somebody
There's a lot of decisions you need to make. Can I return this? Should I fair catch it? Should I let it roll into the end zone? It requires a disciplined, aware guy who also has great instincts in open field awareness and a guy who can catch the ball and take some punishment. Obviously, we need somebody who can make somebody miss. It's a skill not many people perfect or many want to perfect.
expected football good great guarantees win
It's a great start. We expected to win the game. We think we've got the makings of a good football team. ... It guarantees you nothing. But it does give your team, I think, a sense of confidence.
