Johnny David Damonis an American professional baseball outfielder who began playing in Major League Baseballin 1995. He last played in 2012, though he has not officially retired. As long as he can cut down the angles, maybe work it so where he has some shorter throws, he'll be fine. He knows the pitching staff, so he knows how to position himself. I don't think he's going to give center fielders a bad name. He's a solid player.

I think Doug coming back is a bigger story because the trade at first really took him by surprise. The fact that he's back, I think, it's a bigger story because he and Wakefield definitely work very well together.

I seem to have gotten rid of that. I should be good to go. I plan to be in the field come Wednesday night. My legs are in pretty good shape now, but playing in the field will definitely help me out and get me more prepared.

I've been waiting for that moment to happen for a while. I'm just happy it's right around the corner. It's definitely a dream come true. Some of the best players who have ever played this game have roamed center field for the Yankees.
