Johnny David Damonis an American professional baseball outfielder who began playing in Major League Baseballin 1995. He last played in 2012, though he has not officially retired. In his MLB career, Damon has played for the Kansas City Royals, Oakland Athletics, Boston Red Sox, New York Yankees, Detroit Tigers, Tampa Bay Raysand Cleveland Indians. We were shown all the scenarios after the game and we were kind of in awe. A lot of guys thought it was runs scored, so we thought maybe we'd have to go out and try and beat South Africa by a lot of runs. But it's runs allowed, and the South Africa score does not count. That's strange, too.

So many times, you see guys getting hurt whether they're just fooling around or not playing very hard. For me, I have to keep up with the routine, play like every game may be my last.

Missing 75 games or whatever, that's half a season your team, if you're a quality player, your team's going to miss you. I think it's a positive step for the union. Unfortunately, you can't make everyone happy. Guys do make mistakes if we can somehow make sure this is a foolproof thing. We want to make sure guys know what they're being busted for.

I have a lot of friends there and we had some great moments. But a lot of the guys are gone and that's how baseball is. The teams make their choices.

It's pretty amazing. Joe is going to be able to flip-flop guys around, like three-four-five-six, depending on whoever is going great. It's just an amazing lineup. I know the other teams always look over and go, 'Wow. Another guy! Another guy here, another guy there.' Pitchers don't get much of a break.

It was a group of guys who enjoyed each other, a group of guys who would love to play forever with each other. You don't have those teams too often, ... I look across the room and I'm not sure if I'm going to play with these same guys for another year. I could be on another team. They could be on other teams.

It's getting better and better. You know, guys are feeling more comfortable and they are not afraid to speak up and be a leader. I mean, our team, we have 25 players, we have about 25 leaders, too. So whatever someone says, people listen.

They weren't intimidated by our lead. It's going to be a tough year, a bunch of tough games with those guys. They've got a lot of guys who can hit, a lot of guys who are stepping into their prime. They definitely are very dangerous.

We know how hot they are. They're playing well. Hopefully those guys will cool off.
