fact hit hop knows looked smell starting
Schill is incredible. He knows how to hit his spots. He looked like he had more hop in his step. He can smell the fact he's going to be starting for us soon.
good guy nice
Schilling is one game, ... It would be nice to get him back, and I think he will be, but we also have some other good guys. If we want our ace, Schilling is going to have to be the guy who has to be that.
ace formidable good nice
Schilling is one game. It will be nice to get him back. But I also think we have some pretty good guys. That's a formidable rotation. But if we want our ace back, he's going to be it.
job randy score
Randy did his job to keep us in the game. We need to score more than just two runs.
approaches dog four plays respect seen series tremendous won
Bernie won the World Series four times here. If he's not there, it's not the same team. The way Bernie approaches the game, he's a laid-back guy, but he plays hard. I've never seen him dog it on the field. I have tremendous respect for him.
approaches ballplayer baseball billy bit favorite field game guy son success telling time watches
Billy Mueller's my favorite ballplayer. I keep telling my son every time he watches the game to watch this guy. He's a guy who earns every bit of his success out on the baseball field the way he approaches the game, the way he plays, switch-hitting. That's the kind of ballplayer I want my son to be.

Seeing him a lot of times definitely helps. But he still has some overpowering stuff.
capable good pitchers talk team throwing
Everyone, when they talk about our team they talk about your offense. Our pitchers are capable of going out there and throwing good games.
feels pitch series situation
Every day, every night, every pitch -- everything is the most important situation that could come up. It kind of feels like the World Series a little bit. It's going to be amazing.
ended miserable ownership people
At the time, a lot of people were miserable because there was an ownership change. There was really a lot of uncertainty with coaches, with players, but things ended up being great.
biggest months playoff red survive swing trade
This 'no trade' is probably the biggest thing the Red Sox ever did. There's no way we could survive without Manny for two months of a playoff run. With one swing of the bat, Manny makes a difference, just like he did today.
definitely school weird
This tiebreaker stuff, you've got to go to school for it. It's definitely a weird feeling.
definitely school weird winner
This tiebreaker stuff, you've got to go to school for it. I thought there would be a clear-cut winner and a clear-cut loser. ... It's definitely a weird feeling.
