differences games making-a-difference
In a lot of close games, I can make a difference with my speed.
want behinds
The biggest thing I want is for the hitter coming up behind me to get a good pitch to hit.
want being-the-best our-time
I want to be the best leadoff hitter of our time.
balls no-excuses excuse
There is no excuse for not catching a ball you can get to.
drinking beer weight
I'm gaining weight the right way: I'm drinking beer.
play yankees important
There's no way I can play for the Yankees, but I know they're going to come after me hard. It's definitely not the most important thing to go out there for the top dollar, which the Yankees are going to offer me. It's not what I need.
hero kids player
I wouldn't mind being a hero to a kid. I grew up idolizing players, so I know how important that is for a lot of younger kids.
against good guessing guys kid might seen
The kid did a good job. Against some of these guys we haven't seen too much, you might be guessing (at the plate).
deserved stay threw
I figured, if I threw it up in the stands, it deserved to stay there.
came close good
I came close, ... But close isn't good enough.
definitely pitches throwing time
I definitely think he's getting better. He's throwing 95 at times and throwing more pitches every outing. By the time the postseason comes, he should be our No. 1 again.
came coming definitely enjoy open players unhappy waking
I definitely feel a part of this team. They came to me with open arms. The players called me and told me how important I could be. There's not really an unhappy day for me. I enjoy waking up every day and coming to the ballpark.
beat fast high
I couldn't get back fast enough. It just beat me. I couldn't get as high as I wanted to. I have to make that catch.
afraid amazing job knows wants
The guy's been amazing for them. He's a competitor. He wants the ball. He knows how to get the job done. He's not afraid of anyone. He's their MVP.
