Johnny David Damonis an American professional baseball outfielder who began playing in Major League Baseballin 1995. He last played in 2012, though he has not officially retired. For me, this is getting me ready for April 3. Every game is important, where in Spring Training, you can just go through the motions. Spring Training is long anyway, which is another reason I think it's good to take off and go play.

It's good to be back here. Everyone is happy to be back. It adds some life back into spring training.

It's just an exhibition game in spring training. I think by now everybody understands what happened. I'm not going to go crazy over one game in March when we play them 19 times during the year.

Spring training is too long anyway. I think this team, we're ready for the season to start right now, the position players anyway. It can be long and tedious, and this breaks it up.

We scored runs. He didn't give them back as rapidly as we did. David Wells knows how to pitch and we need him to have a great month of September and get us back to where we need to be.

I seem to have gotten rid of that. I should be good to go. I plan to be in the field come Wednesday night. My legs are in pretty good shape now, but playing in the field will definitely help me out and get me more prepared.

I've been waiting for that moment to happen for a while. I'm just happy it's right around the corner. It's definitely a dream come true. Some of the best players who have ever played this game have roamed center field for the Yankees.

I've been having a blast. Everybody on the team has been great to me. I haven't changed anything, I'm just playing for a different team.
