Johnny David Damonis an American professional baseball outfielder who began playing in Major League Baseballin 1995. He last played in 2012, though he has not officially retired. In his MLB career, Damon has played for the Kansas City Royals, Oakland Athletics, Boston Red Sox, New York Yankees, Detroit Tigers, Tampa Bay Raysand Cleveland Indians. I wish I had more hits and runs and more wins for this team. It comes in time. I understand it's a game and some are going to be better than others. Hopefully for this team there's a lot of better days to come.

Yankees fans do expect to see Jeter, A-Rod, myself and Bernie Williams. But with this Classic going on, we had to lose some players for some time. I understand the sign, but hopefully we'll put on a showing for the U.S. team.
