Jerry Yorkis the Men's Hockey Coach at Boston College. He graduated from Boston College High School in 1963 and BC in 1967. York is the winningest active coach in NCAA hockey, and leads the all-time list as the only Division I head coach with over 1,000 wins. Chris (Collins) has done it all year long, but to survive and move deep in the tournament, you have to have more than one guy. We have some core leaders, and now late in the year a whole host of players are starting to be difference-makers. We are hot and playing very well.

Games can't always be free-flowing. Sometimes there are defensive struggles. You must be able to play both types to win championships.

We're much more balanced, and that makes us much more dangerous as a team. We are becoming much more difficult to play; you can't just shut one or two players down.

This year was just an unbelievable surprise for us. Now we're hot, we're playing very, very well.

Both teams were a little apprehensive. It was a bit of a checkers match at first.

We played what I think is a really solid, physical team in Lowell. They're bigger and stronger than we are. They're older and a bit more experienced. We took a lot of hits, but we got up and played.
