Jerry Yorkis the Men's Hockey Coach at Boston College. He graduated from Boston College High School in 1963 and BC in 1967. York is the winningest active coach in NCAA hockey, and leads the all-time list as the only Division I head coach with over 1,000 wins. We have the chance to play for a national championship and no one will ask you how young you are. Ask the Maryland women's basketball team. You're not supposed to win. You have all these young players. The trophy never says that. We are going to try our best to keep this thing rolling.

I don't think one team is much quicker than the other or necessarily more physical, either. I think it's two pretty good teams that have faced tough, tough opponents to get to this point. We are two teams that are much more similar more than dissimilar.

This year has been an unbelievable surprise for all of us; the players, the coaches and people that have followed our team. Now we are hot and playing very well. It is an interesting team because we have some core leaders and now late in the year a whole host of players are starting to be difference-makers.

This team is the best Terrier team I've seen in the last four or five years. Specifically, they're quicker and more creative. They haven't had those qualities over the last four or five years. They have them now, and they used them tonight.

We're much more balanced, and that makes us much more dangerous as a team. We are becoming much more difficult to play; you can't just shut one or two players down.
